━ general information

⬩ All commissions are digital only. No physical items will be shipped.
⬩ Listed prices are base rates for personal use. Final pricing may vary based on complexity, add-ons, and licensing.
⬩ Proper credit must be given to sliceofi when posting or using the artwork publicly. This includes a link to my official pages (Twitter, VGen, or sliceofi.carrd.co).
⬩ I reserve the right to accept or decline any commission at my discretion, including projects outside my skill set or involving prohibited content.
⬩ Clients must be 18 years or older and use a payment method they are authorized to use.
⬩ All communication and agreements must be conducted through approved platforms such as VGen, email, or official social media. I am not responsible for agreements made outside these channels.
⬩ These terms may be updated at any time. Active clients will be notified of relevant changes.

━ payment

⬩ Full payment is required upfront, unless a payment plan has been agreed upon.
⬩ Invoices must be paid within 3 days to secure the commission slot. Unpaid invoices may be canceled unless prior arrangements have been made.
⬩ Final pricing may be adjusted for revisions or requests beyond the agreed scope.
⬩ Work may be paused if there are payment delays. I am not obligated to continue until payment is resolved.
⬩ Payment plans may be discussed for larger projects but are not guaranteed. A partial upfront payment is required, and an additional fee may apply.➜ Payment Plans
› When available, the total cost is split into two payments (50~50): the first 50% is due upfront, and the remaining 50% is due after the sketch approval and before line work begins.
› A flat fee of $5 USD will be added for administrative costs. This fee is non-refundable, regardless of project completion or cancellation.

━ process & delivery

⬩ Work begins after payment is confirmed.
⬩ Updates will be provided throughout the process. Clients may also request updates at reasonable intervals or check the work queue.
⬩ SKEB/Surprise and YCH commissions include minimal to no updates and revisions, and the client acknowledges limited control over the outcome.
⬩ Standard commissions include up to 3 major edits during the sketch or planning phase.
⬩ Major edits include changes to pose, composition, design, or concept. Minor edits include small corrections such as color adjustments or detail fixes.
⬩ The agreed commission details define the project scope. Major changes (e.g., pose, composition, or concept) are only allowed during the sketch phase. Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional fees or a new agreement.
⬩ Turnaround time is typically 3–12 weeks depending on queue, project type, and availability. This timeframe is not guaranteed. Delays caused by client response time, revisions, or unforeseen circumstances are not the artist’s responsibility.
⬩ Final files are delivered via e-mail or Google Drive and remain accessible for one (1) month. Clients are responsible for downloading and storing their files.
⬩ Final files are delivered as PNG or GIF unless otherwise agreed. Source files (e.g., PSD, CSP) are not included.
⬩ Work-in-progress previews may be shared publicly unless restricted by an NDA.

━ usage & rights

⬩ All commissions are for personal use unless a commercial license is purchased.
⬩ Commercial use includes merchandise, branding, monetized content, advertising, and any other profit-based activity.
⬩ Stream assets (emotes, badges, panels, alerts) are intended for monetized use. Additional uses may require a license upgrade.
⬩ I retain full copyright and ownership of all artwork.
⬩ The artist reserves the right to display commissioned work in portfolios, galleries, and promotional materials unless restricted by an NDA.
⬩ The artwork may NOT be used for AI training, datasets, scraping, machine learning models, or NFTs in any form.
⬩ The artwork may NOT be edited, traced, or heavily modified without permission. Minor cropping for layout purposes is allowed. Removing watermarks or signatures is strictly prohibited.
⬩ Usage rights are non-transferable and may not be reassigned without permission.
⬩ The artwork may NOT be used in a way that is defamatory, misleading, or impersonates the artist or any third party.
⬩ Chargebacks will result in immediate revocation of all usage rights and possible dispute action.
⬩ Violating these usage terms automatically voids any granted license.

━ fees & add-ons

⬩ All fees (rush, NDA, commercial licenses, and other add-ons) must be paid upfront and are non-refundable, regardless of project completion or cancellation.
⬩ Pricing and scope may vary depending on project requirements and intended use.
⬩ Clients are responsible for reviewing all applicable fees before commissioning.
⬩ Discounts, if offered, are non-transferable and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

+50% of the total commission cost
› Work will begin immediately or on the next available working day.
› Turnaround typically ranges from 1–6 weeks.
› Rush ensures priority in schedule but does not guarantee instant completion or a fixed deadline unless otherwise agreed.. . .➜ NDA ~ Private Commissions
› An NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) keeps your commissioned artwork private for a set period or indefinitely.
› NDA applies to artist-side sharing. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own confidentiality.
› A public release date may be agreed upon, and proper credit to the artist is required whenever the artwork is used or published.✚ Short-Term NDA [ 1-3 months ]
+10% of the total commission cost
› The artwork remains private for 1–3 months. I may share the artwork after the period ends or after the client’s specified release date, provided it falls within the agreed duration.✚ Long-Term ~ Indefinite NDA [ 4+ months - indefinite ]
+30-50% of the total commission cost
› The artwork remains private for 4+ months or until a specified release date. I may share the artwork after the agreed period or release date. Indefinite NDAs will remain private unless permission to share is granted.. . .➜ Commercial License
› Commercial licenses are required for any profit-driven or business-related use beyond personal use.
› Purchasing a commercial license expands usage rights but does not transfer copyright ownership.
› Usage is limited to the agreed purpose. Any additional or expanded use may require a license upgrade.
› Resale or redistribution of the artwork file itself (e.g., selling the file as-is) is not allowed.✚ Basic Commercial Use

› Covers monetized content such as streaming, videos, or social media.
› Using the artwork on platforms (e.g., Twitch or Youtube) where you generate income through ads, subscriptions, or donations.✚ Extended Commercial Use
+100% of the total commission price
› Covers merchandise and small-scale product sales.
› Includes, but not limited to, printing the artwork on stickers, prints, keychains, or other items for limited sale (e.g., small shop or artist alley).✚ Full ~ Large-Scale Commercial Use
+200% of the total commission price
› Covers branding, business use, or large-scale production/distribution.
› Includes, but not limited to, using the artwork as a logo, mascot, or brand identity, or producing merchandise in large quantities for a business or company.. . .➜ Other Additional Fees
› Additional fees may apply for complex designs, added elements, or design work required due to incomplete, unclear, or missing references.

━ client conduct

⬩ Clients are expected to respond within a reasonable timeframe. Delays in communication may result in schedule adjustments, project pauses, or cancellations without refund.
⬩ If a client becomes unresponsive and unreachable for 30 days or more, the commission may be considered abandoned and closed without refund.
⬩ Clients must provide accurate, legally authorized materials and confirm they have the rights to use all references provided. I am not responsible for copyright or legal issues related to client-provided content.
⬩ Commissioning my work indicates your acceptance of my artistic style and creative interpretation. I do not replicate or imitate other artists’ work.
⬩ Harassment or inappropriate behavior may result in cancellation, blacklist, and loss of usage rights. Refunds are at my discretion.
⬩ In cases of fraud or misconduct, limited non-sensitive information may be shared to document violations. Sensitive personal information will always be redacted.
⬩ All materials and communication shared between client and artist are treated as confidential, except when disclosure is necessary to enforce these terms.
⬩ The artist reserves the right to refuse further service to any client who violates these terms or engages in repeated problematic behavior.

━ refunds & cancellations

⬩ All sales are final. Refunds are only considered if no work has started or if there has been no sketch progress after 3 months, unless otherwise determined at my discretion.
⬩ Once the sketch has been approved, the commission is considered finalized, and no refunds will be issued beyond this point.
⬩ I reserve the right to cancel or refund a commission at any time, with refund terms determined at my discretion.
⬩ Refunds, if granted, will exclude any non-refundable fees (e.g., payment plan fees, rush fees, NDA fees).
⬩ Fraudulent chargebacks or repeated cancellations may result in blacklisting, loss of usage rights, and dispute action.
